During our nurse clinics, you can ask for advice from our experienced staff members. Remember – they’re here to help.

Vaccinations

Vaccinations will protect your pets from a huge number of illnesses and should be administered regularly from a young age to ensure a long and healthy life.

More information on vaccinations can be found on the Services and Kitten and Puppy Care page.

All of your pet’s annual vaccination boosters are taken care of when you sign them up to our Pet Healthcare Plan.

Neutering

Neutering your pet isn’t just about stopping your pet’s reproductive abilities. It can also prevent a number of serious diseases developing in your pets, such as cervical or testicular cancers.

The price of neutering your pet will vary on pet type and size. But every creature we care for will be given excellent treatment, and have space and time to recover at our practice before being sent home.

For information on the perfect age to neuter your cats and dogs, please take a look at the Puppy and Kitten Care page.

Osteoarthritis Clinics

Osteoarthritis in pets is a serious and potentially debilitating problem. Perhaps your dog has ran for tennis balls one time too many, or maybe the favourite feline in your household has pounced up too many walls. Either way, we can help.

We can provide thorough examinations and regenerative medicine for your pet’s osteoarthritis, making them feel happier and healthier.

24-Hour Hospitalisation

If your pet requires the care and attention of a hospital stay, then our team of highly skilled vets and nurses are here to help.

We have someone on site 24/7 to provide the care that your pet needs.

Microchipping

Microchipping is vital if you want to ensure you don’t lose your pet. And if you’re a dog owner, microchipping is a legal obligation.

A microchip inserted underneath your pet’s skin, gives them a permanent means of identification. Giving you peace of mind and keeping your pet safe. Get in touch for more details.

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is available at our hospital in Hungerford. It is a revolutionary non-invasive technique designed to help inflammation on your pet’s body and can quicken the natural regeneration of cells after an injury.

A precise beam of light can target specific areas of the body, stimulating cell regeneration, reducing inflammation and promoting healing.

Laser therapy is useful for osteoarthritis, lumbosacral disease, wounds, bone healing, soft tissue injuries, lung disease to name a few.

PETS Passport Scheme

If you want to take your pet to different climes, you’ll need to obtain a PETS passport from an Official Veterinarian.

During your application for travel documents, your pet will be immunised against rabies and undertake a full examination.

For more details on the PETS passport scheme, please look at the government guidelines on their site.

Surgery

As a hospital, our surgeries are fully kitted out with state of the art equipment, ensuring your pet receives the best possible care.

Before surgical procedures are considered, your pet will be examined thoroughly using equipment like:

  • Ultrasound
  • Blood tests (performed in-practice)
  • Endoscopy
  • Arthroscopy
  • Bronchoscopy
  • Digital radiography
  • Tonometry
  • Blood pressure checks
  • ECGs and much more
  • Treatments such as lameness work-ups or laser therapy may be an alternative to surgical procedures

The use of these checks is dependent on your pet. We’ll only do what’s best for them.

Dietary Advice

If your pet is over or underweight, we can help. Your furry friend will be weighed and, if necessary, we’ll create a rigorous dietary plan to keep them in the perfect weight category.

If you find that your pet needs long term dietary advice, why not sign up to our Pet Healthcare Plan, where all nurse clinics are free. That way your pet can get the long term dietary care he or she needs and you are spared the cost. What’s more, you’ll save an annual 20% on all of your pet’s preventative healthcare such as vaccination boosters, flea and worming treatments, and you’ll be entitled to exclusive discounts!
